Welcome to Fat Bird Studios!

Fat Bird Studios (and my home) was destroyed in the Marshall Fire on 12-30-2021, along with all of my work. I have recently been creating some new drawings and ink washes for the website, which can be found on the page for 2022. Please feel free to look at the archived intaglio work (2012-2021), as well as the new line work. I appreciate your support and viewership during this hard time.
My name is Ardy Zirakzadeh, I am an intaglio printmaker and the owner/operator of Fat Bird Studios. I used torn paper and deep etching in my work to give a three dimensional aspect to my work, rather than using the traditional method of making prints.
